Trip to the Indiana State House

Lincoln students, learning about Indiana, recently visited the Statehouse in Indianapolis.  They learned about the three branches of Indiana government and how a bill becomes a law. While there they met two members of The House of Representatives: David Wolkins from District 18 and Rebecca Kubacki from District 22.

Gallery: Field Day FUNanza

The last day of school also known as FIELD DAY took place on Wednesday. Fun was had by all including students, parents and teachers. A variety of activities were offered including (pictured) a water balloon toss, tug of war, a dunk tank, bean-bag toss and much, much more. Pictured in the gallery you may witness the utter joy the Lions experienced that day. A huge thank you to Mr. Phelps (and those who assisted him) for putting it together. Also, thank you to all of the teacher & parent volunteers to help make this incredible day a huge success. It's been a busy year for Lincoln; a lot of big and amazing things happened. Have a fantastic and safe summer. We will see you all back in the fall!

Be Safe for Field Day

Field day at Lincoln Elementary is quickly approaching, Wednesday June 3rd, which is also the last day of school. A few things we are encouraging students and parents to keep in mind are the following: Please wear proper footwear to minimize the possibility for injury, please have students wear comfortable clothing they can move around and play in; additionally, please have them wear either blue or red depending on the color of their "field day families", please use sunscreen if your child is susceptible to burning; students may also wear a hat to help shield the sun, lastly please consider that anytime students have plans to be outside whether it be for field day, a field trip or recess, please consider applying these pointers to maximize the safety and enjoyment for the activity  :)

WCS Registration Information

Warsaw Community Schools will open on-line registration in July of 2015.  A new on-line software system for registration will help streamline the process and offer parents a way to register multiple children at once.  All schools will continue to hold building registration as in the past.  WCS encourages parents to register on-line prior to the building registration dates to expedite the process in the buildings.  The new on-line registration process will be accessed as before through PowerSchool.  Log on information will be sent out during the month of June to all existing students.  New students to our system are encouraged to contact your school to begin the enrollment process in July.

In-building Registration Dates and Times:
July 29, 2015        1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Police Dogs visit Lincoln
