Trip to the Indiana State House

Lincoln students, learning about Indiana, recently visited the Statehouse in Indianapolis.  They learned about the three branches of Indiana government and how a bill becomes a law. While there they met two members of The House of Representatives: David Wolkins from District 18 and Rebecca Kubacki from District 22.

Ronald McDonald visits Lincoln

Today grades Kindergarten through 2nd had the pleasure of meeting Ronald McDonald. Children gathered in the cafeteria as Ronald and his side-kick taught importance of reading and taking good care of books. Ronald selected a few volunteers from the audience to help him with his message. The boys and girls were nothing but smiles during this humorous, expressive yet important presentation. And who are we kidding....the grown-ups loved it too!! #RonaldMcDonald

Permission Slips Required for Movie

This Friday, March 27th, students who receive 10 or more ISTEP tickets will be eligible to watch the movie 'Big Hero 6' in the afternoon. In addition to the tickets, students MUST have permission slips turned in due to the movie's PG rating.

If you click on the link below you will be able to view the entire permission slip (in case your child's backpack has eaten theirs). These must be turned in by Friday morning. Thank you.

Gallery: Carnival a Success!

Lincoln's annual school carnival was yet again another huge success! The kids were smiles ear to ear while playing games, jumping in the bounce house, strutting their colorfully sprayed hair and painted faces, winning prizes and of course seeing all of their BFFs from school.

This carnival would not be possible if it weren't for the 80 volunteers including the staff, PTO, parents and students. We also offer great thanks to the many who provided donations. Some of which was the 110 baked goods for the cake-walk, 47 silent auction items, raffle items and soda.

All of the silent auction proceeds went to continue funding for the boomerang backpack program at Lincoln. Thank you again for joining us! We can't wait again until next year!

Slight Menu Change

Please take note that today we are going to be serving Chicken Patty sandwiches (which was supposed to be served on Friday) and on Friday we will be offering the hotdogs (which were supposed to be offered on Monday). Thank you.
