Please consider bringing in new toys for the toys-for-tots starting now and through Friday, December 4th. Boxes will be available in all of the classrooms to add the toys to.

Outdoor play attire

If you would like for your children to be able to play outside at recess, with more freedom, please make sure they have brought snow pants and boots to wear. If they do not have these things they will be only permitted to enjoy recess on the blacktop area. Thanks!

Checkmate Hunger Tournament

Last Saturday, November 21st, Madison elementary held it's annual Checkmate Hunger Chess Tournament. Participants were as young as kindergarten and varied on up to adult. There were a record breaking 240 total participants. Lincoln broke a record as we had 25 of our own show up to compete- 5 of those 25 left with a trophy, all others left with a very impressive medallion. Everyone had a fantastic time in between matches bonding with teammates, practicing chess and eating pizza.
