Trip to the Indiana State House

Lincoln students, learning about Indiana, recently visited the Statehouse in Indianapolis.  They learned about the three branches of Indiana government and how a bill becomes a law. While there they met two members of The House of Representatives: David Wolkins from District 18 and Rebecca Kubacki from District 22.

TG's Tuesdays

It's back again everyone! Tuesdays in September are Lincoln's TG's Nights. Make a purchase any Tuesday in September and tell the cashier you are there to support Lincoln Elementary School, we will then earn 40% of the days profit! Awesome and delicious!

Retro Bill visits Lincoln

Yesterday students and staff had the pleasure of enjoying some comedy with a serious message from Retro Bill of Hollywood, California. Retro Bill is a motivational speaker geared towards children with an anti-bullying message. Parents and students have the opportunity to see Bill in action at a FREE public show this Friday night, August 28th- 7:00-8:00pm (doors open at 6:15). Cookies, coffee and juice will also be provided FREE of charge!

Join Cub Scouts!

Tuesday, August 25th at 6:30 pm will be the Cub Scout kick-off for Lincoln. Cub Scouts is a great club to make friends and learn new skills. Cub Scouts is offered to students in grades 1st through 5th; cost is $12. For more details, see the attached flyer.
